My connection to the food service industry started early, growing up around my aunt and uncle’s business, Allegheny Creamery & Crêpes, and working with my grandfather at Sports Scoops in Hollidaysburg, PA. Those experiences gave me a firsthand understanding of how demanding it is to run a restaurant or café. In addition to family history my first long-term clients, Beech Tree Café and The Dream Restaurant, were food service businesses and why this industry remains a core focus of our work.
